Minneapolis-based Phillips Distilling Co. released Black 100 in June, an herbal liqueur that joins the company's portfolio of 100-proof liqueurs. The spirit's launch is supported by a promotion that aims to change the way people consume spirits shots—in a specially designed spoon instead of a traditional shot glass.
