Terlato Wines International (TWI) has teamed up with legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus to produce Jack Nicklaus Wines. Sourced from Napa Valley, California, the initial range will consist of a Cabernet Sauvignon offering and a Bordeaux-style blend. The Limited Production 2007 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will retail for $35, while the 2007 Limited Production Private Reserve will sell for $43. The two wines will be unveiled at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, the site of the Memorial Tournament to be hosted by Nicklaus in early June.
“Whether mastering the game of golf and dominating his competition like no one before him, or by designing some of the most magnificent and distinctive golf courses around the globe, Jack has demonstrated world-class standards. We’re very proud of our relationship with Jack, his family, and his brand,” said Bill Terlato, TWI’s President and CEO. TWI plans to make the wines available in prestigious resorts and golf clubs throughout the nation, as well as online at www.uncorked.com.
