Sonoma's Don Sebastiani & Sons has released The Crusher, a new line of wines developed in conjunction with Wilson Family Vineyards that are meant to celebrate the relationship between the grower and winemaker. The Crusher will debut with four offerings, all sourced from vineyards in Clarksburg, Ca. A 2008 Petite Sirah is joined by 2007 vintages of Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier and Chardonnay.

Keeping in line with the focus of the brand, the label draws the consumer's attention to the vineyards that provided the fruit for the wines. The Crusher wines will retail for $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle, and have a suggested $9-per-glass price point. The new brand joins Smoking Loon, Pepperwood Grove and Impact "Hot Prospect" Aquinas Napa Valley in Sebastiani's Three Loose Screws division.
